## Overview

Skio is a subscription app for brands that already sell a lot of subscriptions. It launched on the Shopify App Store in April 2021 [1]. One plan includes the customer portal, cancel flows, build-a-box, lifecycle journeys and payment recovery [1].

Recharge bought Skio in April 2026. Recharge says both apps keep running as they have [6].

## Pricing

There is one public plan. Scale costs $599 a month billed monthly, or $499 a month billed yearly, plus 1% + 20¢ on each order that contains a subscription [2]. The fee is charged on the final order total, and orders with only one-time products carry no fee [3]. At $60 an order that is $647 a month for 60 subscription orders, $919 for 400 and $2,199 for 2,000. Enterprise pricing is custom [2].

## Merchants

Skio is rated 5.0 from 242 reviews: 236 five-star and one one-star [1]. Recent reviews praise responsive account managers, smooth migrations and multi-step cancel flows [10].

## Data

You can export active and inactive subscriptions to CSV or JSON from Tools > Data Export [4]. Skio also has an open GraphQL API and a BigQuery integration for moving all subscription data to a warehouse [5]. Skio's own site and help centre do not name a SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certificate [7][8]. Its parent, Recharge, publishes a SOC 2 Type II report for its own controls [9].
